On September 30th, 2024, the Children of the City Charity Event took place at the exquisite roof top space at the Wall Street Grill in New York City, hosted by David Tyree (Super Bowl Champion and NY Giants Wide Receiver 2003-2009) with special guest New York Giants Linebacker, Kayvon Thibodeaux. A big thank you to our incredible supporters! Together, we raised essential funds to further our mission of changing the culture of poverty through education and mentoring.

Special guest appearances included New York Giants Super Bowl Champion Leonard Marshall, Giants Quarterback Tommy DeVito, Giants Kicker Greg Joseph, Miss USA Vermont Samantha Vocatura, and Miss NJ USA Kandula Jabili. 

A big shout out to NBC sportscaster Bruce Beck who once again  was a delightful and entertaining emcee for the night.  

The live auction featured amazing items such as Mets tickets, a signed Giants jersey, Charles Fazzino pop art, and Yankees tickets. Every dollar raised brings us closer to helping more children thrive through our after school and summer programs as well as our community initiatives.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our Executive Director, Joyce Mattera, whose leadership inspires our continued mission. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our volunteers, sponsors, and attendees who made the night possible, and a special thank you to the Wall Street Grill for providing delicious food under the beautiful New York City skyline.
