Lucky Strikes venue was buzzing with excitement all night long as guests captured the moment to chat and bowl with players, splurge on a delicious gourmet spread, bid on their favorite auction items, and enjoy down time with friends and colleagues. Children of the City is known for having the most fun filled charity events. Nothing ever boring about it. Our guests experience a true win/win night as they are able to aid the plight of inner city children and at the same time have one of the most enjoyable evenings with their favorite Giants players. Over 30 players who came out to support this event as they also learned a little about what Children of the City has and continues to accomplish to change the culture of poverty and rescue children. “It’s the children that nobody sees, that often nobody wants to see, that Children of the City reaches and redirects to break generational patterns of poverty and addiction” shares Executive Director Joyce Mattera. “With over 30 years of proven results, we can see the difference this organization has made and we are determined to continue to see lives and communities transformed.”
