Children of the City has successfully servedthe children and families of Southwest Brooklyn for more than two decades. Most of our success stories would tell of families that have overcome welfare and poverty and are now homeowners, businesspeople, engineers and so on. Many families who have overcome substance abuse and have turned away from lifestyles of violence and gang activity are now pouring back into the community and volunteering their time into this organization.

Since 1981 we have reached thousands of children. Volunteers and staff reach the children at home, at school, on the streets and playgrounds, and in our facility.

With your support we can effectively reach and change the lives of more children, improving their quality of life by breaking the cyclical effects of poverty and giving them hope for their future
